Hello everyone, I have an upcoming interview at Midwestern University and I was wondering if anyone can share their experience. Specifically, here is what I was wondering about.

1. Was the interview difficult and who interviewed you? Possible types of interview questions.

2. What advice would you offer people who are going to interview there?

3. Is there an essay section? If so, was it difficult?

Any other suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated in this thread or through a PM. Thanks again for your help!

search Pre-dental forums for MWU interviews using the search option.
MWU interviews good amount of people.
Make you write an essay. Get to choose 1 of 3 topics.
2 on 1 interview. Good luck.

Expect nothing and you'll be fine, the more you worry the less likely you'll get in...honestly, that's the best approach to take.

I will have to disagree with smills. That depends on person to person. There is no set rule for everyone. Find out for yourself if you need work towards interview or you could just be yourself and do fine.

to me, the questions they asked were kinda out of the ordinary.......be prepared to ask questions as well

The questions they asked can be difficult for some, imo.

Maybe it was just me, but I felt that my interview at MWU was very relaxing compared to my other interviews. My 2 interviewers were so friendly, Dr. Simonsen was awesome, and I had a good time.

1. Know yourself, and your application well, then your set.
2. eat a good breakfast!
3. If you can write English, then it shouldn't be an issue.
