Update a school on acceptances?

so ive heard before that if you into a school with an acceptance that it kinda weighs in your favor...i dont know if its true or not, but if it is, should you update a school you really want to go to on acceptances youve received? not exactly a letter of intent, cause i know those are kinda locking yourself in....i dont know....just wondering!

No, I don't think so. It would be like rubbing it in their face, or saying "ha ha you better hurry up because other schools are gonna snatch me up before you lame butts make up your mind"

The proper thing to do is say during the interview "well, if I don't get an acceptance to this school, I'll attend medical school X where I already have an acceptance" and make sure you tell them why you want to attend their school, and why you think their school is so great.

If you definitely want another school, than you should contact them and let them know that even though you have been admitted, you would still be prefer their program, and would like that chance prior to putting down a huge deposit.
