I know that there's a general heuristic that a publication is worth an update but I was wondering if it still applied for my specific situation.
I am fortunate enough that a first-author manuscript of mine was recently accepted for publication, however it is not my only publication nor my only first author, so I was wondering if it does not carry as much benefit/weight. It does however come from a different research role/team than my other publications. I also briefly mentioned this manuscript in my primary under the description of the respective research role if that is of relevance.
I was wondering if this would be a worthwhile update to provide schools or if it doesn't make a particular difference, and specifically if I should only update Pre-II schools or Post-II schools. Thank you for your advice, and taking the time to read this post!
