Update Letter Timing-Please Help!

Hey everyone.

First off, this community has been amazing and I seriously don't know what I would do without them. I need one last piece of advice this cycle.

Interviewed at dream MD September, Waitlisted October
Sent update- December.

They just stopped interviewing and the school takes off waitlist every month and then takes a big chunk off in May.

Should I send my final update letter/LOI right now or in April (closer to when the bug chunk comes off). Do they get a notification email or something when an applicant uploads letter?


basically trying to figure out when I would have the best chance.

Hey. Yes, I have a substantial update. Just wondering about the best timing

I'd send it sooner rather than later unless you are expecting something else substantial to occur within the next two months.

If your last update was in December, you can send an update. Once a month or two works.
