So I have only gotten two interviews, but I have been accepted into a top ten med school. I would like to have more interviews just to see more med schools and see what else is out there, so I have decided to do an update letter. My grades were pretty good last semester, and I have done some pretty interesting activities as far as ECs is concerned. My only question is if it is smart to tell the other med schools in my update letter that I got into this particular med school or should I just not say the name or say nothing about my acceptance? Thanks

Say nothing about it.

They're interviewing you based on how they see your application, not how the top 10 sees it.

Definitely say nothing about it.
1) They aren't going to interview you because someone else accepted you
2) They may decide not to interview because you are bragging about this other school so they feel you won't go there anyway.

Save "other school" threats for financial aid decision time. You need to get in first. This certainly is the time for update letters though. Update with (good) grades, maybe a new EC, and if there's a program that is (actually) your first choice, let them know.
