Hey Everyone!

I contacted audiologists here in Tampa and I finally heard back from one. In about two weeks I'm shadowing my first audiologist and I'm so excited. Also, in the fall I'm taking a physics course but it's not heavily math based. Does that matter with audiology programs if I decide to continue? I took General Biology with a lab and plan on taking Psychobiology and other courses needed for my major. If I really like shadowing this doctor should I aim of establishing future contact with her for a resume etc?

That's great. The physics can be just a core physics or intro, any sort of physics has math involved so don't you worry 🙂 If I'm not mistaken you might also need a social science. You should definitely keep in contact with this AuD, for advice or maybe even some work in the office. The field is small and you never know who knows who, so it could only benefit you.
