So UW now has interactive CCS cases instead of the ones you just read. Are they any good or still full of grammer errors that ppl were complaining about before?

The newer cases have been cleaned up from what I have seen.

The older cases are horrid. They must have "outsourced" the author for most of the written case explanations, as they have questionable clinical judgement and are obviously written by a non-native english speaker.

I think the usmleconsult cases are still much better - I would recommend using them.

Honestly the 5 cases and explanations on the CD are adequate. They give a very good idea of what the USMLE expects in terms of completing a case adequately. This, by the way, is much less than what most of the 3rd party prep software requires. The USMLE expects 5-10 actions to complete each case, while USMLE world et. al lists 10-30 steps for each case! I guess they are just trying to cover all their bases. All your base are belong to us.

I agree with the above post about the official USMLE cases are enough prep, but with that being said, if you feel you need extra practice the USMLEWORLD cases are excellent. I recently took the real exam and felt overprepared (exactly how I wanted to feel) for the 9 real cases and finished each of them in <10minutes.

I felt the usmleworld cases were almost excessive preparation. They offer 47 cases in an extremely similar format. These cases are free from any errors from what I could tell.
