Hi all, quick question, especially for those who have been through this before. If I wanted to update one of my work/activities, could I just send correspondence describing that update and reiterating my interest in the school? (this is pre-interview)

Or does it need to be more involved than that? (e.g., a more flowery description of why I'm interested in/a good fit for the school?) Just wondering what the proper etiquette is for these updates.

I think it's probably too early to consider updating your application info with a school considering that they probably have not even glanced at it. That being said, such an update might not be a bad idea a bit later in the application cycle (especially if you get stuck in an official pre-interview hold).
