Updating Application after Submitting

If I submit my application in mid May, take the DATs in June, then take two classes in the summer, will I be able to update my application with the grades I get in the two summer classes? Or would I need to call the schools and tell them personally?

There is an academic update window that become available. I cant remember exactly when but I think its around January or February. Anyone know when exactly?
