Updating application after summer classes?

I am not applying this year but had this question for when I do apply. I am getting a second degree. I may not finish this degree until the summer when I do apply. Is there any problem to updating your application after summer? Someone told me grades submitted after applying in June won't be seen or schools may not look at them. Is this true?

Once you apply to AMCAS and have your transcripts verified, new transcripts are not accepted. Your recourse is to let individual schools know about new grades through update letters, but all schools don't accept these. A few schools might request an official transcript. Even with these two instances, your application GPAs will not be recalculated.

With TMDSAS (Texas public schools), you are required to submit updated transcripts so a new GPA can be calculated that takes that information into account.

I believe AACOMAS has defined times of the year that new transcripts are accepted and incorporated into your application's transcript during the application year.
