Updating course/grades after submitted app?

I got a D in molecular biology in Fall 2009 (last semester) but the course is only offered in the Fall so the next time I can take it is this Fall 2010. I tried looking at other schools for this course in the summer but none offered.

I plan to submit my app after my June 17th MCATS.

If I factor my D without a retake into my sGPA, it will drop (currently sGPA of 3.3 without this D added into the calculation).

Any advice?

In that thread, I learned that we can somehow "update" our applications. I don't know when the last day to update them would be, but I think that December would be too late. Many schools will have seats filled by then I believe.
