updating grades

when can I update my grades? I just finished two summer courses...I noticed that I am allowed to edit my app, should I update my grades or do I need to wait??

The AADSAS has a period for academic updates. This summer is from:

August 15 - September 28, 2018: Academic Update period (1st academic period). Hope this helps.

Are the schools automatically updated of changes to the app or do we have to do something to notify AADSAS we want the schools updated?

The way that I understand it is that you will input your new grades from the summer session during that time, if you so choose. Once the update closes I am guessing that the schools automatically get an update.

I am a first time applicant though and someone who went through this last year might be able to shed some more light on the specifics.

I’ve already submitted and had my app verified but just inputted my Summer 1 grades and ordered a new transcript to be sent to AADSAS last week. Idk if that was the right thing to do or not, but it says my new transcript has been received. My new grades aren’t verified though.

Yeah I don't know, since you have submitted, if they will update your grades until the academic update period.
