I am hoping to get some insight into this if anyone has any advice or personal experience.
Since I submitted my application and CV (I submitted very early on, in late October), I've submitted a 3rd author review paper with my PI (on topic of interest) and a first authored poster abstract to a conference. I am also actively writing a first authored paper to the poster (though this will not be ready until at least several weeks).
My CV was littered with "in prep" works during the time of the application, and I think these are kind of significant changes.
Question is: Should I email my POI to inform him of these changes? Will it make a difference in my applications? This is one of my top schools and I was very upset to see that invites were sent out Friday. I'm hoping to jog his memory of me, and at the very worst, get some kind of replying indicating he's not interested. I have contacted him 3x before also and he was kind enough to reply back.
Please let me know what your thoughts are!
Thank you.
