Is it true that UPenn sends you either the interview letter or the rejection letter within 2 weeks after your application is complete?
I submitted my secondaries early Oct. and didn't hear anything from them.

UPenn has received 1,400 applications so far, which is a huge increase over last cycle and I know this is slowing thigns down quite a bit. Go ahead and give the admissions office a call to determine the status of your application (215) 898-8943. Best of luck!

my application was completed on Oct 7th and is still under review at UPenn 😕

Penn sent me a letter stating that my file was complete in late Sept. I received an invitation for interview in about a week. They seem to be very organized. I'm always getting brochures and info from them....

I just called them and the lady told me my application was completed in late september and it's still under review. why is it taking so long for them to review my application?

raZ10, UPENN is very organized but Columbia is super-fast. If you don't hear anything from UPENN in the next few days you should call UPENN.

P.S. USC is very slow. I haven't heard from USC eventhough many months ago USC told me I have a very competitive application. Not sure if anything is missing. I just don't feel like calling them because I am just tired of going to more interviews...

DAT: 22 science, 21 overall
GPA: overall 3.7, BCP 4.0

It's a very random process I think - I haven't heard anything from Columbia, Tufts, etc. I just received an interview at USC...

Just call UPenn - they are very friendly and they usually pick up in just one ring.

I just called them in the morning, they said my file is on the review and will send either invitation or rejection letter. You should call them and ask about status of your application.

applied VERY early (june 1st'ish) and received a brochure about the school a month ago (october'ish) but that's it.... still waiting for a response...

No, admissions does not update the InforSource. Most schools didn't update infosource, or updated it way after I had received anything in the mail from them.
