UPenn email today?

i haven't gotten an interview from UPenn.
but today i got an email saying 2002 admissions decisions have been made and to check the website for my status.

when i went to the website, it said to call the office about my status.

are they going to tell me i got rejected over the phone?!?!? 'cuz then i don't want to call.

did anyone else get this email and this message??

Yup, I got it too. I called the admissions office and they implied that the rejection letter is in the mail.

If I were you, I'd go ahead and make the call. I got the same e-mail and the status page told me I'd been rejected. It didn't tell me to call the office. Perhaps "call the office" means waitlist?

My status originally said to call (which I didn't)- but now it has changed to "not accepted".

Maybe too many people were calling the office...
