hey guys..

so im new to all this.. ive actually sent in my application pretty late.. Oct 17 on aadsas. I got a reply from upenn the other day askng me to send in my official transcript... i was just wondering if that actually means anything considering it says on there webstie the following:

The Penn Dental Medicine Admissions Office requires official transcripts only from candidates who have been invited to interview. Please do not forward transcripts to the Penn Dental Medicine Admissions Office until notified to do so.

did you finish your secondary application or are they trying to complete your file?

ive already sent in the supplementary app early november... the one with those questions and the fee card.

By the way would you happen to know how many they usually interview for the ~115 spots?

They only asked me to send in my transcripts after I received an interview invite. I'm heading out this Friday...

they said about 240-260. do not worry you will get your chance and i will see you in class next fall. Just hope you get Dr. DeRossi as your interviewer; he is awsome.

gl. enjoy it. do not let the basement scare you. it is only for the first year.
Oh and try not to talk as you walk up the stairs to his office. He thougt I was nervous as he asked me questions as we walked up the stairs, while i was trying to catch my breath.
