Hi everyone,
I have just been invited to UPenn for an interview. I will be coming from Louisville, KY and wanted to save as much $ as possible on this trip. Any suggestions concerning airline tix, lodging, etc.? With my schedule, I would like to be back home as soon as possible. If anyone has had any similar experiences, I would love to hear about them. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!
Eric

Congratulations on your interview at Penn! I don't know how far Louisville is from Philadelphia, but if it's fairly close, you may be able to make it into a day trip.

I would check the webpages of different airlines and see what is available. You should look at several different airline websites because the prices are different for the exact same flight. There are also websites that allow you to book flights and rooms, like the following. www.trip.com www.onetravel.com
I can't remember which ones were the really good ones, but you'll get the hang of it.
I used americawest to fly to Philly.

I used the internet for hotel reservations as well. I think Penn had an on-campus hotel type place, so that would probably the cheapest, if there are any rooms available. I stayed at the warwick hotel and booked via www.hotelconxions.com It was $95 a night when I stayed.
