HI got your message. I already posted my status. What do you mean by "male or female, age...."???
I was just asking a general question, nothing offensive. If you don't want to help, that's fine. But If you want to hook a girlfriend here, you simply just got a wrong place! Anyway, you don't have to be so mean. Just try to be nice, man!
Sorry, you really made me SICK.....like I said, with your low GPA, low ibt with low speaking, retaken part1, and not too much experience even volunteering, what would you expect? So, my suggestion for you would be: Don't waste your money and time on other schools, just focus on NYU, you probably could make it.
Good Luck!
Hey rain ..it was nice to meet you there. thanks for your support!maybe i will go to nyu finally...

Positive vibes! off coarse, everything was positive there, nobody went out from the interview room saying "Damn, I did bad!". However, 80% of us will be rejected!Hey monreal & zsy
How did u guys feel after the interview..did u get any positive vibes from the ppl who interviewed u?
Also is it easy to find the Robert Schatnner building? How did u guys travel from the airport to the school?
Thanks!

Hello all,
I am a new registered member of SDN and because I have read many of the posts from this forum, I decided to tell you about my experience during the interview at Penn, on Sept 25th.
There were 9 people from all over the world with very good stats, although we didn't talked about them. I concluded that form their posts on the forum. So everybody had Part1 around 90, more or less. the TOEFL was also pretty high, around 100(I am guessing). I just want to give you an idea who was first interviewed.
Dr. Hangorsky and Ms Corky Cacas interviewed us all and they asked personal questions. Why did you come to US?what do you like and you don't like about US?
What have you done after your arrival to US?
What hobbies do you have? What do you do in your spare time?
Be prepared to answer questions from your applications!!
Why Upenn?
The third interviewer was a different person for each student. I had someone form the restorative department.Very nice person! They might throw a question about "How independent you feel and prepared to work with a patient?"
Specific questions may arise from the conversation. If you have taken Part 2 you should be able to answer them, they are not difficult.
One advice:be as natural as possible, don't be stressed because they don't want to see stressed people. Look and feel confident and you will get in. They are not looking for perfect people, they want students that can integrate with the regular students. If you have a good application and you are a friendly person, they will see that in just 15-20 minutes of the interview.
GPA is also important:it shows that you are able to study and you will not struggle during the school. TOEFL shows how well you can interact with the other students, how well you will be able to understand the instructor and if the patients will understand you.
Good luck everyone!
I am sure everyone is interested in my stats. I will just give you some ranges:
Part 1>90
TOEFL>110
GPA >3.70
PS> Taha, will you please send out the photo you have taken of us? Thank you.(in e-mail )
If I am not wrong, I think you are "my cousin". Please let me know if I am wrong or not. Thank you.

. I took a train from the airport to downtown, you buy the ticket on board. Go to http://www.septa.com
Actually I slept there the night before, so I didnt go directly from the airport. I think you can walk from University City. It is less than one mile... 30th St. is absolutely farther!I was checking SEPTA earlier and was wondering where I should buy the tickets..anyways thanx for clearing that for me.
Also one more thing..did u get down at University city station or 30th street? From what I've read 30th street is closer to the dental campus..What is easier & faster ..walking, shuttle or jus take a cab from the station?
Thanx!

Hi,
I got the Septa train to 30th Street and then the Green Loop bus and got off at Spruce and 40th street. The exact address of UPenn. So this buss leaves you in front of UPenn. It runs every ten minutes from the 30th Street Station (outside, on the right side on the 30th St Station). For more info check www.septa.org
Good luck!

😛I had my interview on Oct 2nd. We had ppl from all arnd the world--India,Iran,Iraq,Cameroon,Venezuela,Ecuador & China!
7 girls and 2 boys.It was awesome to interact with all of em!
It was grt meeting Jayashree,Mulberry and Darkshadow.Very nice, confident and friendly ppl.
We started of the day with a light breakfast and presentation by Dr.Hangorsky.This was followed by a short talk by Ms.Cacas and then the financial advisor.
After that the interviews started. Each one was called for an interview..First it was Dr.Hangorsky and then with Ms.Cacas.After that , we had lunch together with current PASS students both juniors and seniors. It was nice talking to them and eating their heads with questions abt the school.
Then we had to meet with the third interviewer ,who was different for each one.Or a couple of students saw one interviewer...it was pretty random.
After that we toured the school with a PASS student. The building is old but a lot of renovation has been done. My fav was the sim lab and the main clinic. And there were sooo many patients...everyone were busy busy busy!!!
Overall I would say I was very impressed with the school and the program and the students seemed to be happy too.Met a few PASS students during their lunch break and they all said only good things abt the school.
Now..abt the interviews..as the previous ppl had mentioned, it was soooooo casual!!! Just be urself thats all I can say!!
When I came to the school..my stress level was prbly 5/10 but by the time I got to see Dr.Hangorsky..it was 1/10!! And after his interview my stress level went down to zero!!🙂
All 3 interviewers were super friendly.I think we all felt that the interview with Dr.Hangorsky was a little short compared to the other 2.
Interview with Ms.Cacas was nice..abt 15 mins for me and she just asked general questions..She was very sweet and we talked abt family and travelling.
My third interview went for abt half an hr...it was such a relaxing one! We chatted on topics from Hindi movies,Aishwarya Rai to Indian Gods and Indian tea!!! I was so surprised the person had so much knowledge abt India!!At the same time, he did go through every page of my application and asked me a lot of questions abt it..very simple ones...not to worry.Nothing technical for me.
The questions that were asked were exactly what the previous ppl had mentioned...i think their fav question is what did you do after coming to the US.Becos all 3 asked me that.
They all had a sheet with points for each person...I had a glimpse of it but couldnt make out what it was.Other students who interviewed also noticed it.
And during the first 2 interviews, they kept writing something on those sheets.
Overall..everyone came out thinking the interview went well..so we really dunno what they r looking for.
The PASS has changed this yr..till last yr..abt 200 students were called for interview and only 20-25 were selected. But this yr..they are calling only 80 students and only 25 will be selected.
So the chances r higher now then before.
Hope all this information helps.I know its stressful going to the interview but u dont have to worry at all.Just be urself!🙂
Btw..u can leave ur bag or luggage at the school itself with the security..one girl did that in our group.
Good luck to everyone. If this school is for u , it will happen no matter what!🙂
