Good program. Very prestigious med school, although expensive. Dr. Quinn, along with the other attendings are truly great people. I feel the dentoalveolar component is a bit weak early in the program. Gen Surgery time seems rough. Some may think the TMJ emphasis is overkill. Call is pretty good since they take 3 residents as well as a few interns each year.

Their dental students would like to think so
I don't think there are any prestigious dental schools.

Their implant/dentoalveolar exposure is too minimal IMHO, and the pricetag is too high.

Interviewed there last year, but ranked them low because of the weak implants. They were also reluctant to pull out their ADA Summary for the previous year which lists the numbers of procedures completed in each category of OMFS by their residents. The program seems good overall except for the implant/dentoalveolar part.

Not a resident yet! Hopefully will be in 6 months.
I agree with what River13 says. It would be a great program if dent/alveo was stronger, tuition was lower and buying a good home was cheaper.

Yes the dentoalveolar component is pretty weak and the price tag is very high; however, their faculty seems very competent and they do a lot of orthognathics.

If you have any concerns or questions about the program contact Dr. Levin (if he still there) he was my interviewer when i was applying for school there and he is a really nice guy.
