I am contemplating applying for UPenn right now and I looked up their secondary. I noticed that their first question is "Please list any additional predental experience not included in your AADSAS application."

NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR AADSAS APPLICATION. Seriously?!

I have literally over 1000 hours of shadowing, observing, and practical experience (as a dental assistant) but they are all listed on AADSAS!

What do you put down in this case? Can you leave it blank since they are all mentioned in AADSAS?

If there is anything new at all. If you did another 50 hours shadowing since you submitted your app then put it down.
If not, then say it is all in your AADSAS or leave it blank.

Yeah that's what I did, I said all my dental experience is listed on my aadsas application.

lol, really. not something to freak about. i submitted at the end of june, and got some experience with a gp at a point after that - i'd only worked with orthodontists before, so i was glad to have the opportunity to talk about it briefly and hopefully give myself a better chance there.

i love how they make it sound like you either have dental experience not listed on your aadsas application, OR have NO dental experience at all....

i want to punch the person who wrote that question right in the baby-maker.
