Hi all! Quick question about the UPenn Supplemental App:

How do I save the pdf with progress made so that I can work on it later? I've tried downloading it and saving it, but it always saves as a blank copy of the application.

And second: for the essays, how did you all incorporate the essays into the application? There's no extra space given so I'm a bit confused.

(I'm assuming you don't have to print it out, fill it out by hand, then scan it again. But correct me if I'm wrong)

You have to physically mail it to them. So yes, you do need to print it out. I think I had about 4 sheets total in the envelope. The application worked fine for me. But it doesn't take too long to fill out. Just finish it in 20 minutes and then print it out and you can add your essays later.

So do I fill out name, address, ID, etc by hand or just type it in, then print? I also thought you could email it but I''m not sure which is preferable...

• Supplemental Application for Admission — complete application within the PDF and save. The Supplemental Application should be submitted directly to the Penn Dental Medicine Office of Admissions as early as possible by email ([email protected]), fax (215-573-9648), or postal service along with the application fee.

The supplemental takes 10 minutes to fill out; not sure why you need to save it. Just make a word doc for the questions. Mail it.

Either way you still need to physically mail the application fee so you might as well do both at once.
