UPenn transportation question

For all Penn students living in center city, I know that the Penn Shuttle is a convenient way to get home door-to-door after class is done in the evenings, but how to students get to classes in the mornings since the shuttle doesn't run in the mornings? Septa, taxi service, what? Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

It's a nice morning walk from Center City or if you're in a bit of a rush, take SEPTA....

thgis really depends on which part of center city you are coming from... given that you can be as far 34 blocks from HUP.


Septa is the way to go, esp. if you are near walnut st with the 42 and 21 buses.

Thanks. Yeah, I guess if it is nice out walking is an option. Otherwise, I will be riding Septa, the nation's most expensive public transportation system!

Or... if you are closer to Lombard Street - take the SEPTA 40 bus across the South Street Bridge, and up Spruce.....

Or... if you are on far East side of Center City and near Market Street - take the SEPTA Blue Line and get off at 34th and Market and walk.....

Just a few more specific thoughts if you are new to Philly...
