UPENN waiting list?

I had an interview at PENN in October, but I haven't got an acceptance packet yet. I guess I am not accepted at this point. Does anyone know whether they send only acceptance packets on Dec 1? Since they do not use any electronical ways to contact students, I am a bit frustrate what my status is. Should I just wait or call them if I am on the waitlist? During interview, I was told that they do not want us to call them though.

They told me at my interview that they send out acceptances every week. So if you haven't been accepted, you probably got looked over, but not denied.
