UPitt applicants, is this normal??

I submitted my app to AADSAS on 8/10 and it has not been mailed out yet(I called them today to confirm). But I found out that they already cashed out my check already?? Aren't they supposed to get my application first, then take my money? The only they have from me is probably my DAT scores, check and photo.

Is this normal?

Hey be thankful they cashed yours. They have had my application and they have had my check since the first week of July. Everytime I call they say they haven't gotten to them all yet (b/c someone was on vacation for two weeks). Who knows -- I wouldnt' worry about it.

I think they might have just cashed a big set of checks regardless of what other materials are in with them. I submitted my AADSAS on June 14, and the printout was mailed Aug. 4, but they just cashed my check early this week. Either way, I wouldnt worry about it.
