OK quick question prior to rank list.

Which program is considered (better program, more prestigious):
Univ. Pitt. Med. Center or Indiana Univ.

Also anyone remembers the Indiana call schedule?

Thanx.

I think Indiana is better, but my advisor went there so my info is a wee bit biased.

I think the call schedule was prettty cush, something like q5. Come to think of it I probbaly should have ranked them higher based on the call schedule. :)

I can't speak for Indiana, but Pitt/UPMC has a young and apparently enthusiastic faculty, and has the tremendous advantage of being the sole and respected program in a city with many distinguished hospitals. Their bench is one-deep in some specialties, but the community has significant resources. The referral cachement is large and not shared with anyone else. And Pittsburgh is a city that has character without being unaffordable.

(I'll admit, I'm biased about the last bit).
