How much do these factor into admissions? I will have the "bare minimum" done this semester and would like to apply this spring, will not having done any upper division science classes be a big negative for my application. I am thinking I will take biochem this summer while i am applying because some schools require it but should i look into taking some beyond that next fall?
Did any of you who also did the bare minimum get hassled about this in interviews or think it hurt your chances at some places? I feel like most nontrads are just shooting to get the prereqs done with a decent GPA...or is it just me?

I applied last year with the bare minimum of ud science. I did not get in. When I spoke to admissions their primary recommendation was more u/d science. So I would say yes it does matter.

I was wondering the same thing-- beyond biochem, which I'm taking in Spring, I'll only have the pre-reqs. I really really don't want to wait another year. Anybody else here have experience applying without upper divs?
