Hi, my name is Dan, I'll be finishing my B.Pharm in Melbourne, Australia at the end of the year, and have been e-mailing pharmacy schools in the Boston/New York/Philadelphia area.
I'll be looking to study, one or two subjects, preferable Disease State Management, in an American university, mainly for personal interest, and for personal development, etc etc etc.
It'll be good to see Pharmacy from a US point of view, and have a vision into the future of Pharmacy around the world.
I understand there are many things preventing me from going over there...
eg..
whether it's actually possible...
monetary (isn't studying about 30k US+ per year? could be less if i did less subjects)
housing (twould be sweet living on campus, but that'll cost $$$)
But as far as feedback from you guys go, is there any outstanding pharmacy schools, as far as reputation, how sociable people are. etc etc.
Are you guys aware of any students who have studied one or two subjects at your uni?
First preference for me is MSPHS, mainly coz it's in Boston.
