Dear SDN,

In order to obtain my minor in chemistry I will need to take Biochemistry. Due to my university being on the smaller side, our class availability is limited. So Biochemistry is only offered in the Spring and the way it's scheduled, I won't be able to take any of the upper level biology classes which I wanted to ( all the really good ones are only offered in the spring ). The meeting times for Biochem all interfere with the upper level bios I wanted to take. I only have a few upper level biology courses on my transcript (a bunch of 100& 200 level though). How badly will this be viewed by the admissions committee?

Thank you

you need to get BC in before you graduate. I don't think Adcoms will be looking at the level of classes you took really when thye have several thousand applicants. Mostly focuses on your cGPA/sGPA in terms of classes.

I'd go for the classes that interest you rather than BC if you aren't graduating in the spring.
