If a patient is having just feeling of fullness and headache in the head and neck without any sxs of venous congestion in the upper limb, then would this be a compression of Superior vena cava or Internal Jugular vein, or other structures?

There was a question like this and I put IJV but the answer was still SVC... Not sure why!

Post the question.

Spoiler for those who hasn't done NBME 6:

A 55 yr old man comes to the physician's office b/c of a headache and a feelin gof fullness in his head and neck. Physican examination shows dilated chest vessels and plethora that is worse when he lies down. X rays of the chest shows a right upeer lobe mass and a widened mediastinum. The most liley cuase of this pt's sx is compression of which of the following structure?

External jugular vein
Hemiazygous
IVC
IJV
Right lymphatic duct
Right mainstem bronchus
Subclavian vein
SVC
