Not sure why you made another thread but what is your current cumulative and science GPA? If we're talking about a GPA in the 3.3-3.5 range then a solid year of good grades (mostly A's) will probably be the minimum. If you're talking about a GPA at or below 3.0 then your best bet will be to retake C/D/F grades to get the GPA as high over 3.0 as possible and apply DO with a strong MCAT. If you really want to go MD then you will likely need a DIY post-bacc with lots of upper level sciences or a formal SMP.
Consensus is Junior and Senior year. AACOMAS calculates Junior and Senior standing based on number of units (I'm not sure what the number is. Google search for what Freshman, Softmore, Junior, and Senior are for quarter and semester system)
Im currently a senior and my cumulative gpa is a 2.6 without retakes and over a 3.0 with retakes. I returned to school last year and so far I have improved my gpa almost by .4. If Im able to hold a 3.7+ for my senior year and do a diy postbacc for a year will that be a good enough upward trend assuming I do well? Also every class I take will be a science class outside of Spanish 2.
