I am writing a secondary essay now and I am gathering material from a book written by a doctor to answer this question. Would this be a plagiarism? I am trying to submit this by tday.
Could you please elaborate?
Still not seeing why you would need a book to describe your personality or your strengths/weaknesses.so they are asking me about my personality and describe its strength and weakness as a physician. And I realized that this one book written by a doctor talks about doctors, who heavily rely on clinical algorithms and statistical data and want to get their work done swiftly, tend to ask questions that "structure" patient responses, under a preconception that patients have certain symptoms and may miss vital points during diagnosis.
I think there is no way that I could get this level of info since I am just a premed.

If you're directly referencing a text and not paraphrasing/copying/misappropriating (i.e. plagiarizing), be sure to cite your source.
ok! I am paraphrasing the content of the book! so worry free👍
I want to get this one done so that I could work on others. They are piling up. 😡
Certainly. They are most likely interested in why you think your personality traits would be helpful to you and not in how they conform to some formula described in a book. The bigger issue is losing sight of the actual goal: admission. The goal of getting through these faster is misplaced. OP should write more thoughtful answers rather than rush through the essays. Quality over quantity, you know?
Please tell me you're not posting from your car.Sent from my Android phone using Tapatalk
Paraphrasing without proper attribution is still plagiarism. Don't forget to cite your source.🙂
I am relating it to my big bro big sis exp and talk about how I promptly responded to his conspicuous problems while being insensitive to his internal problems coming from his single mother household environment. Then I am writing that I have strived to improve my intuition and have helped my sister to be successful as a premedical student by not only helping her to do well in courses, research and volunteeing but also dealing with her emotional problems such as having to study too much when all of her friends are partying.
I imagine there's a personality trait you're describing with that in there somewhere.
...my negative qualities are not being thorough, being hasty and often jumping onto conclusion too quickly.
So, I know I am 4 hours late returning to convo and the OP has probably paid to submit her/his secondary already. (And no, I was not driving at the time Myuu)
But...the irony of this situation and your last statement was so profound that perhaps you missed it?
You should really think about your admitted "negative qualities" and see if any might apply to this entire thread (yes I mean the topic and situation, but I also the thread itself).
