urgent advice please

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
u make so many posts about the same thing that you don't get replies.. a lot of the answers to your questions are already on this forum.. just search. the other answers to your questions can be found on the school's website, ie cost, curriculum, etc.

Let's try this again.. I really wish I could get more feedback from current students.. or people who more time in the cities...

PCO vs ICO vs SCO

1) How do these cities differ in

a) safety
b) things to do/social life
c) cost of transport / ease of transport (e.g. in Chicago w/ public transport can you go out late and come back to residential area late at night?)

2) How do the schools differ in

a) tuition cost (someone said ICO and PCO are different but I thought they are almost exactly the same?)
b) how they help you prepare for boards
c) whether or not they are weedout schools
d) curriculum / exam format / difficulty of classes / professors etc

3) What are the cons of each program

4) Lastly.. what makes each school unique. Why would one be better than the other if they all cost the same exactly....

I would REALLY appreciate some more info this...

Thank you in advance for your time

Contact the admissions office and they can put you in touch with current students there. I'll bet you find someone who applied to those same schools and therefore can give you the best insight after having explored the same things as you and then being a current student. I've talked to current students at every school I applied to and it helped a ton. They also sometimes list "student ambassadors" on their websites. Everyone has been super honest with me - even about the bad.

That's because it's hard to get elaborate answers. Though I went on tours at these schools, we all know that during your interview you aren't really in the position to hound people with questions or to come off as really picky. People have given responses that seem more opinion based or very open ended. That's why I post, because I'm looking for answers from actual students. Sorry if this is bothering anyone. It seems like people on these forums are much more eager to be negative than friendly and open on these forums.

I know how the tours work at SCO.. u can ask anything u want. That is what the tour is for.

It's not that people are negative, it's that no one can decide where YOU should go, but yourself. I'd personally chose a school closest to home to try to save money. Good Luck!

Very few current students check these boards - they have their own boards. Rather than hoping one student from those schools happens to check the board and gives you their one opinion (they are all going to be opinions), you should really contact the admissions office. I have had admissions offices put me in touch with people based on my undergrad major, where I went to undergrad, military scholarship, etc. And they have all been very honest about the good and the bad (like I already said). That is how you are going to get lots of answers for what you want.
