I was just wondering what the requirements are to practice urgent care? Do you just have to do one year of residency (Transitional year) and pass step 3? If so how much can one expect to make a year? Thanks
Urgent care isn't a medical specialty, it's a job. Generally, you don't have to be board-certified in any particular field, although this is employer-dependent. All you really need is a medical license. Of course, that doesn't mean that you'll be any good at it.
Most of the people who do urgent care
right are trained in family medicine or emergency medicine.
