urgent information needed...pls help

hey everyone!!
i have got a unexpected health problem in my family....my exam date is december 26th for nbde part1.
if i postpone my exam 10days further,which would be in mid january 2010,how will the result come?i mean is it going to be pass/fail,new pattern applicable from 2010????????or am i going to still get the percentile basis???
pls pls help with this information...........thanku.

Hi Pbkal,
Hope everything goes well with ur family. Don't worry the pass/fail pattern is not implemented till 2012. Only thing is u can't retake exam from Jan 2010. Good luck!!

But u can postpone ur exam for Jan or for tht matter any 12 months from the date of ur eligibility letter.. only thing is this will be ur last attempt..

Call ADA for immediate answer

if i give the exam on 26thdec 2009 and pass,then do i have chance to give exam again in 2010???pls clear this .......will postpone my exam accordingly...........thanku very much..

Yes u can retake only if u register again before 25th dec.
Effective January 2010, candidates who pass the NBDE Part I or II, may not retake the examination unless required to do so by a state board or relevant regulatory agency.

If an application is submitted before the end of 2009 it will be valid for 12 months from the date we process the application. This means you will be eligible to test next year with a passing score.

However if you have a passing score and submit an application in 2010 or after you will not be eligible to test.

really very thankful to u for ur help at this crucial point for me.according to ,my knowledge.90days is the time lapse required to register for reexamination,right???so,none of them giving exam in november and december will be eligible to register again,right?????so,if i take my exam date before 25thdec,2009 will make no difference,right???becos,90days period is not available..................am i right????/
plss plss help with this...

Either u take it in Dec or you take it later..
