Omg, I have just received an email from pharmCAS. They said my application has been returned it to me for editting because I did not put the prefixes on my college courses. I just edited and e-submited now. Am I screwed up the application? Will it effect to my designated school?? I am so worry now. The submit the pharmcas on Oct.26. and my school deadlines were NOV 3.

Any advices???? What can I do now ??

Unfortunatley, yes, you are probably "screwed" for those schools with Nov. 3rd deadlines. Sorry to hear about your situation. Yet another reason to apply early and carefully follow directions.

I think you should call PharmCAS and ask if it's still considered an Oct.26th submission. If you're still worried, you can directly call the school that you're applying to and explain your situation. Hope all will work out for you. 🙂

Good point. Get on the phone and make some phone calls, hopefully they will consider the 26th as the submission. I have to be honest though, of all situations to have zero sympathy for as an admissions committee, this is one of them. PharmCas states 2 or 3 times to write the courses exactly as they appear on the transcript and that they are not responsible for delays in the application as a result of failing to follow directions. Sorry if I sound harsh but following directions is the first step in the application process. Good luck

Hey calisoca, I noticed that you got accepted already. What schools did you apply to and what are your stats?.. if you don't mind. 🙂

I had an issue with PharmCAS last year, same kind of deal. My credits were on my transcripts as 0.5 or 1.0 vs the "normal" 3 or 6 credit hours. PharmCAS screwed it up by telling me I was supposed to put in credit hours even though my school didn't use them. I had to resubmit 3 times before I called them to find out what the frick they wanted. Eventually one of the people there told me I had to adjust to credit hours. This was after the Nov deadline and I still was considered for the programs because I e-submitted before the deadline. PharmCAS is just stupid sometimes. Don't sweat it too much. If you want, contact your schools of choice in a few weeks to confirm they received everything. It doesn't hurt, and it shows you're being serious about their program. P.S. I interviewed at one of the Nov deadline programs after dealing with all of this.

Well I applied to 10 schools via PharmCas but only ended up submitting supplementals to Touro, UOP, USC, and CalNorthstate (Yes I wasted $$$ I know). Got interviews at Touro, UOP, and Northstate and havn't heard anything from USC (probably a bad thing). Had the avg GPA for most schools, lots of experience in healthcare, and dimples for the female adcoms.

Thank you all for replying my threat. I just called the pharmCAS and the lady told me that I met the deadlines because I e-submited it on Oct/26. I felt so relief now. I will be very careful on the applications from now on. learned the lesson!!!

Again, thank you guys and good luck on your applications 🙂
