My Pcat test is tomorrow and this time, I'm retaken it. I feel that Im not ready due to a lot of factors ( family, work, stress) ..
If I cancel the test then I would lost all of the money I paid for this time but if I take it then it will stick into my application.

Any suggestion would be appreciate.
Thanks.

Are you applying for this cycle? If so, you have to decide whether or not the cost of taking it again is worth it. I would say, depending on how prepared you are, you should take it tomorrow just to get a feel for the exam. I know some schools look at the highest scores and you still have time to take it again in January I think (although it is a little late).

I don't think you will receive money back after cancellation anyways. You have an option to void the exam score (which I really think is absurd choice though).

Yes, I am applying it for this cycle. If I don't score well on this, would it affected to my chance getting in the school then?

I mean theres always another chance to take it. Update the schools with your new PCAT scores in January and it will be okay. Of course by that point many rolling admissions schools have partially filled their class and it will be more competitive (maybe).

How bad did you do the first time?
How much have you studied since then, if at all?
Do you feel that you will do worse than last time?

I agree with antiaromatic that, depending on which schools you are applying to and whether or not they only look at your highest PCAT score, I would take it again for a feel of the exam. I tend to do worse on standardized tests the second time around. One of my friends, does better. with each attempt without any more studying because he gets better at figuring out the right answer. It really depends on what kind of test taker you are.

Also, the money you paid for the test is a sunk cost. In terms of economics, your current predicament is a fallacy. You should only be worried about whether or not you think you will do well.

Thanks guys, I think I will take it anyway .
I didn't do well last time, hence, I want to retake it again.
I have a lot of problems happen right now (family and relationship), which make me lack of confidence and concentration for this test.
Thanks again guys ^^

Hello everyone,

Finally I took the test and did better than last time.
I wonder should I give a call to pharmacy school or just seat and wait? Because there's 5 weeks period in order for them to see my score.
Thanks a lot.!
