I'm terribly sorry, I know this is inappropriate, but I have an urgent question.

My dog swallowed a vibrating ring (embarrassing!). It's a german shorthaired pointer. What should I do?

I cant afford a surgery. Will it pass on its own? How long will it take?

Again, I'm very sorry for posting this here. I know that's not the intention of this forum, but I do not know where else to go at this time of night.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

You should go see a vet immediately. I'm guessing those rings have some some sort of battery to make them vibrate, which is very bad for the dog!

the ring is off... she actually got it out of the package, it was new. does that make a difference?

thanks for your help

also, the battery is covered in silicon, and should be completely inaccessible to fluid.

ok, i'm taking her first thing in the morning.

how much do you think it will cost?

we really aren't able to give medical advice. please see a DVM.

thanks. i really do appreciate it.

the advice they gave me was go to a vet asap.

i imagine you're concerned about liability.

i'll go to a vet asap. there's nothing they can possibly be liable for.

again, i know it was inappropriate to post here. thanks for everyone's help.
