I submitted my AMCAS on Aug 1st, and I am still not yet verified!! Will I be too late for secondaries???

I would suggest that you pre-write the secondaries so that you can submit as soon as you receive the email. If you do that then it shouldn't be too late.

But I don't believe "too late" approaches until a month before the school deadline. Despite what you may hear on SDN, I've had plenty of friends with ~30/3.5 receive acceptances upon being complete in October.

The time scale is a measure of an advantage... just do your best from now on~

+1. Most schools' secondary prompts are posted in the school specific threads here: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=826

Pre-writing the secondaries will save you a TON of time and enable you to turn them in the same day (or 1-2 days after) you receive them.

really?? on the AMCAS verification thread, people who turned in their apps around August 8th were verified today. I turned in my application on 8/9 (late I know) and I'm hoping for a verification email soon

OP I was verified on friday and I submitted Aug 4...are your transcripts in? Perhaps they are having trouble cross checking if you didnt line it up exactly? no harm in calling.

Yeah... that's freakish. You should definitely be verified by now. Something is wrong, try and call AMCAS
