Hi,
So I have a dilemma. I am an August 2004 MCAT taker; though I have the MCAT scores of August 2003. I just received my first "application complete notice" at Rosalind Franklin. My dilemma is that I need to change my phone # at AMCAS; though in most of my supplemental applications; I added in the new number. How long does it take for the AMCAS to process the phone # change? Also, the schools I did not tell my new number; should I call them individually even after the addendum on AMCAS?

Thanks,
-Dani

Hey, last year I changed my email address. I proceeded to email each school to update them, some schools changed it in my file while other schools told me to change it on amcas and resubmit...I eventually did both just for the heck of it. I don't think it'll take that long to re-certify...and its the only thing you can do at this point, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Its definitely not a big deal. I changed my mailing address and phone number when I moved back to school and it was pretty much instantaneous.

I would second this approach.....since there is no verifcation, the changes are instantenous but schools download only once a week, I guess. So yes, go ahead and change it on AMCAS and email or phone schhols, whichever you are more comfortable with....

Good luck
