Hello All,
I have a doctor(MD) willing to write me a letter of recommendation. The problem is he hasnt written a letter for anyone and he wants me to forward him a sample letter. My question is, does a LOR from a physician need to be in specific format or could it be like any other LOR emphasizing strengths and weaknesses and personal qualities??? Does it need to be more "medicine" worded????

If you look at most of the secondary apps *the ones posted online available to dl* you can find evaluation forms that could help in writing a LOR. Some accept just the eval form but often time a doctor will take the form and write the LOR based off of what the form is asking. And as far as the format I think it can be like any other LOR, mine all were at least! 😳
