There’s really no way to tell what’s universal or not when it comes to these things, or how much weight one school gives to one ethnic minority (that may or may not be and URM in their community, or recognized as such) versus another.

Simply answer the questions to the best of your ability and let the chips fall where they may.

No. Each school makes an independent assessment of groups suffering health disparities in their catchment area.

Is URM still a thing for admissions after the AA decision this cycle?

We can't focus on someone's race or origin, but are allowed to consider lived experiences related to it, e.g. experiences with racism, issues more relevant to the black/Latino communities (including how their cultures/upbringing may contribute to the class, etc.), inner city poverty, etc.

Is URM still a thing for admissions after the AA decision this cycle?

It's still a classification. You can't use it for admissions decisions. We will see if it applies to scholarships or access to faculty/leadership training programs. Hiring also remains to be seen. (Someone else with more legal background may comment.)
