Urobilinogen increases in unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia but decreases in conjugated because in conjugated (dubin/rotor) it's getting locked up in liver and cannot get to urine/feces?

Does this explain dark urine/light stools in biliary cirrhosis or is that a separate process?

Thanks!

its a separate process. if you search for a thread I created, we have an extremely good discussion on that topic and should cover everything for you
