Hey guys, I was hoping to get some advice on finalizing my rank list. I am having a hard time choosing between ranking URochester or Northwestern at the top of my list. I thought URochester was the perfect fit for me (but its in Rochester), and I also loved Northwestern, which is in a more ideal location for a young single guy who's been looking to get to the big city for a while. I want to be at a program with excellent clinical training, broad subspecialty representation, translational research opportunities with a focus on novel therapeutic development, and a collegial environment. I am looking to go into academic neurology and I think that I should be able to get the fellowship of choice from either program. Any advice/suggestions/insight before 11pm Wednesday would help.
