i am IMG want to do urology in state ...... my usmle score
step1 255
step2 260
cs pass
top 10 in my school
honor degree in almost all my rotation
one recommendation from urology figure in state
there is no publication yet

is there any chance to get urology spot ?
is there anything can improve my chance ?

Hey there,

First off, no doubt its not going to be easy. Nothing worthwhile ever is! But you certainly have great scores. Your next best thing to do is rotate in state, and meet some US Attendings in Urology. I would suggest going to www.urologymatch.com and checking at that site. There you will find a lot of questions answered. I would also try to contact other IMGs who were able to secure Urology spots here in the states. This year alone 3 IMGS matched in the AUA Urology Match. So thats a great plus! Best wishes to you!!
