I'm not sure if urology is an IM subspec. but I was wandering how much does a urologist charge, on average, for an uncomplicated visit (no procedure just H&P). Also the person I'm inquiring for does not have insurace (he's here only for a few days from Danmark and would like an opinion from a good american urologist. He also brought some US films with him) and will be paying upfront. Can he even get an appt. with a urologist without going through a PCP? Any input would be greatly appereciated.
