Hi,
To become a physician in an armed services branch (Army, Air Force, Navy, etc) do you still have to pass standard DoD medical/physical fitness enlistment requirements?

Google works for things this simple, we also have a military forum here for military specific questions.....and yes

Are you a medical student yet? If so, are you at a US school? What year? If not, when do you start?

I’m not in any school yet.

OK so reading your post history: you are around 40, have glaucoma, and are legally blind. Both the age and the medical condition would require a waiver. They almost never waiver uncorrectable vision of any type, let alone legal blindness,. I'm not even sure its waiverable. I'm not 100% sure and the rules change frequently but I wouldn't bet on the military happening.

Also from your post history: you haven't yet taken any premed requirements. You have at least 2 years of application repair (likely more) just to begin to start the 1 year process of applying to medical school. Even asking about the military suggests you are looking farther ahead than you should be.
