US Dental School System

    Can someone plzz explain the US Dental School System, the admission tests & licensing examinations ? thx in advance

    to get into dental school you must take the Dental Admission Test (DAT). Register for this test at ada.org it costs 160.00 for the test and extra money to have the scores sent officially to the schools (mandatory). Pre reqs are also required such as biology chemistry physics and english courses. 90 credits are usually required prior to matriculation although a 4 year degree helps tremendously. In school there are multiple board you take prior to licensure. Both written and clinical boards.
