US grad working in Canada

Hey, I was wondering are there any opportunities for an American who has completed his medical training to work in Canada? I was wondering, if Canadians look favorably on American trained doctors and if so which cities, toronto, montreal, vancouver have a favorable outlook and also a good stream of job opportunities? Thanks!

I'd skip Montreal unless you know French. Yes, they give you a few years to learn it, but supposedly all doctors in Quebec must pass a French equivalency exam to prove that you are fluent in the language.

Look, dude, I go to McGill. I'm telling you that if you want to practice in Quebec, you have to pass a French equivalency exam, regardless if you're working in the English system/McGill and every single one of your patients speaks English, you still need to be fluent in French. I said "supposedly" because there are a few older docs who were 'grandfathered' in and didn't have to pass the exam, plus a few docs now who somehow managed to pass but are nowhere near fluent in French.
