Hi All,

Current CA-1/Rising CA-2 at an east coast program looking to for an open CA-2 position for the upcoming academic year.

Not meant to be. Just looking to switch programs for personal reasons. Ideally in the Northeast/East Coast

Usually this is not a fruitful place to search for a new position especially this late in the game. It’s May; you have less than 2 months until you’re CA2, right?

It’s better to have your PD’s support or help if you’re leaving for personal reasons and/or geographical restrictions. In your post, you did not indicate one way or the other. Cold calls maybe your best bet and the only card to play.

Lastly, most people, if any, who find a switch from here, don’t report back.

Is there a particular time of the year when more spots are open than others? Appreciate the input though, figured I would explore as many channels as possible. Would prefer to stay East Coast unless really necessary. The PD and I are on good terms as well.
