Can anyone give me an idea of how feasable it is for the graduate of a US medical school to get a residency position in any of these countries?

How exactly do the residency systems of these countries work? Is it similar to the US?

You wont get a job in the UK, Australia has more of it's own graduates than jobs and the rest of Europe will vary massively depending on the country.
